Tools & how to use them
Segment
Finite A→B trendline. Connect two pivots to mark a leg; useful for break-of-structure checks and measured moves.
Ray
Like a trendline that extends forward. Great for projecting a trend into the future to see likely reaction zones.
X-Line
Infinite line through two anchors. Use for long-term context or median lines that should cross the whole chart.
H-Line (Horizontal)
Support/resistance at precise prices. Click once to place; drag to fine-tune.
V-Line (Vertical)
Time markers: earnings, FOMC, expiries, planetary exacts. Helps compare price behavior before/after the event.
Rectangle
Supply/demand zones, gaps, consolidations. Use 20–35% fill opacity to keep candles visible.
Ellipse
Soft highlight for rounded bases/tops or cycle windows without harsh edges.
Channel
Two anchors set direction; the third sets width. Watch rail bounces and the midline for continuation or failure.
Fibonacci (Retracement/Extension)
Drag low→high (or reverse). Common pullbacks: 38.2/50/61.8. Targets: 100/161.8.
Label
Annotate entries (E:), stops (S:), targets (T1:). Keep labels slightly offset so they don’t cover candles.
Arrow
Point at key candles/levels to make intent obvious in screenshots and shared charts.
Path
Sketch scenarios quickly—curved paths to show possible routes without committing to exact levels.
Polygon
Draw triangles, wedges, or head-and-shoulders outlines to document patterns and measured moves.
Quick example: Select, move & restyle
Switch to Select to move/resize and change style. Delete/Backspace removes an item.
Quick example: Fibonacci in action
Zoom to the swing, anchor low→high, read 38.2/50/61.8 levels. Add a label for 161.8% target.
Quick example: Build & adjust a channel
Place the third handle to fit parallel touches; midline often acts as dynamic S/R.
